It’s not often you get an original piece of music from Shook, the dutch funk producer has been busy beavering away in his funk-cave on a new EP – which will be out on November 7.

Shook has been steadily carving his path to stardom with a slew of killer remixes this year, and now it’s time for his own productions to shine – those of you who have his ‘Glow’ EP will know why he’s such an exciting prospect.

Well he’s finally ready to release his second EP ‘The Rise And Fall’ and to get you in the mood for his unique blend of modern electro and old-skool funk he presents you with a leisurely, yet playful, musical gift in the form of ‘Hold Tight’.

It’s a clever mix of low-slung funk baselines, overly-optimistic keys and percussion – we for one can’t wait to see what he has planned for the rest of the EP.
