Clique is the brainchild of two men who have been taking Manchester’s underground music scene by storm with their amazing intimate Friday night parties at Mint Lounge.

We’ve been down several times over the last 18 months, we saw the last duo performance of Aeroplane, the amazing bazilian duo The Twelves and more recently Rex The Dog – obviously their booking policy is always on the money.

Well they’re now concentrating on production and have landed a remix of New York electro pop dude Penguin Prison, who they met when he span some records at Clique in Manchester.

They’ve remixed Penguin Prisons’s ‘Fair Warning’ and completely re-worked the track. It’s now lovely piece of funk disco. Imagine if Shook and Breakbot made a track together it would probably sound like this. It’s brimming with 80’s drums, cushion-soft synths, glam guitar hooks, organic bass-tones and some amazing arrangements. It’s superb.
