Clancy is a man from Manchester via London, or maybe it’s the other way around, anyway he’s dropping his new EP ‘Panther’ this week and we love it – so much so we decided to claim him as one of our own, a proper Northerner.

A man who loves a good pint and then goes home and plays on his synths until the early hours. A mans man. His new EP ouzes 80’s disco, over-the-top drums and hollywood hooks. ‘Panther’ conjures up imagery of high-heals, cross-dressers and terrible fashion – it’s brill.

‘4000 Shards’ is more a Future-Cop come Miami/Magnum PI over-the-top synth goodness.

Anyway, less 80’s metaphours from us. You can listen to the entire release below. And go and buy it if you should feel compelled as it out now via Holographic People. We know from experience that the Winters are grim up North. Also, make sure you check out the remixes from Beaumont and StardonE.
