Drawing influence from Friendly Fires to Cut Copy, Two Door Cinema Club, Gwen Stefani and The Pixies, the young trio from Newcastle already has its own sound – as Michael Eavis, founder of the Glastonbury Festival puts it: “It is not very often when I’m asked to judge music that one band stands out so far above the rest as this one did!”

It all started with a trip to Ibiza, where the boys were thrown into a hazy world of dance beats for the first time and observed the power of truly immersive, communal music. It is a lesson they took back with them to Newcastle, and married to an immovable love for big pop melodies and classic indie. The resulting songs are immediate and exhilarating flights of escapism like their debut single “Sunshine Eyes” an arresting mix of Latin percussion with euphoric dance.

Remixes come from Jensen Sportag, Kid Adrift and Skies. Release April 18th.
