Tory government? Check! Riots on the streets? Check! Recession? Check! Yep it might be 2011 but for those of us who were around in the late eighties and early nineties there’s a strange feeling of deja-vu right now.

Still at least then we had the arrival of acid house and rave to put a smile (however chemically inspired) on our faces, and arriving right on cue comes this new package of remixes Shades of Rhythm’s massive 1991 rave anthem Sweet Sensation with remixes from Heavy Hearts, Baxta, Lone and our favourite mousey duo Mighty Mouse.

To celebrated the re-vamped rave sound of 91′ Mighty Mouse have produced a 21st century disco re-work – it’s full of attitude, acid hooks and mice of course – this for us is their finest remix to date and is getting us very excited about their first live show in London XOYO in April 15.
