Todd Terje is back with a new single, which is taken from the Norwegian producer’s second full-length album.

The first single to be unveiled from the as-yet unnamed album is a Terje remake of Det Gylne Triangel’s ‘Maskindans’, and upon first inspection its a lot darker and harder than the Norwegian’s previous output, falling somewhere between deviant disco and electro-clash.

Alongside the new single, there’s a barbed remix from Erol Alkan who — as you might expect — turns in a rip-roaring electro-clash rework that brimming with militaristic EBM vibes.

The single follows a Four Tet remix of a unreleased Terje track from earlier in the year, dubbed ‘Jungelknugen’, which rather oddly has still yet to see the light of day officially. Hopefully we’ll get more info on that and Terje’s new album soon.
