Having quit electronic duo CLMD, after the commercial success of the duo’s ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ which sold like hotcakes in his native Norway, Carl Louis has been focussing on his own music and his latest track, which were premiering today, features Frøder (who some of you might remember from her excellent work with Atella, who we’ve been following for a while).
Louis’ latest is the kind of Scandi pop we’ve come to know and expect from producers from Norway; so you’ve got self-indulgent grandeur alongside catchy pop. For Louis’ version of Scandi pop he has given ‘Come With Me’ a classical timbre which embodies big, clean melodies which sets up Frøder’s equally indulgent vocals to really shine.
More of this, please.
