ZZL’s latest cut ‘Me and You’ is billed as a fusion of “G-House, Brazilian Bass and Techno” and that might well be true, but to our untrained ear it sounds like a rib-rattling, over-the-top cut of electro house from days gone by.
It’s by no means perfect, though, the track’s parping main hook sails awfully close to big-room and there’s a bit of pitched down vocal wizardry that’s a bit unnecessary towards the track’s midway point.
But overall the track’s unnerving deadpan vocals work really well with the track’s squelchy aesthetic — better still you can download it for free.
