It’s here, it’s finally here –  you can listen to the stunning Joe Goddard remix of Busy P’s ‘Genie’ which is now available on all good streaming stores and Soundcloud.

There’s actually two remixes, a standard one and a dub version, sans the majority of the original’s vocals, though I’m inclined to think that the orginal one is the one you really want.

Changes-wise, Goddard ups the tempo, festoon’s the original with a disco backbone and then slathers it in gooey melodies and chatty percussion.

Simply perfect.
