TJH87 are giving away their expansive remix of Crystal Fighters' 'Good Girl'

Last year, Finish electronic duo TJH87 delivered a series of singles presenting their love of everything from French house to disco, as well as creating their own imprint Youth Control, which released Birdee’s most recent EP.

This year, the Finish duo are moving towards deeper soundscapes featuring a range of influences from indie rock to Kompakt techno. That exploration continues with a new remix of ‘Good Girls’ by Crystal Fighters, taken from their critically acclaimed third studio album ‘Everything Is My Family’.

“While the original track is very fun and uplifting, we felt there was a certain melancholy to it, a different side was there, something hiding just under the surface and we wanted to dig into that and bring it out,” explains the duo.

And that’s exactly what they’ve done, festooning their remix with swashbuckling melodies, the original’s ethereal vocals, and stodgy percussion lines for a expansive yet progressive take on the original.
