[Update] Manchester’s Parklife festival has just unveiled this year’s full festival line-up – and it looks like a hum-dinger with 1975, Frank Ocean and A Tribe Called Quest all set to perform.
Almost every house and techno DJ or merit will be playing the two-day event, with Barcelona confetti addicts elrow set to make their festival debut with their own stage.
There’s no Justice that we can see, though :(
[Original story] Parklife will be unveiling this year’s festival line-up this evening – but ahead of the full line-up reveal festival organisers have unveiled the first headliner will be none other than Frank Ocean.
Revealed on the Nick Grimshaw show this morning, it will be the R&B star’s first live performance in the UK since 2014.
It’s quite a coup for the festival as the only other announced festival appearance for Ocean will be at London’s Lovebox festival.
He’s expected to be performing tracks from his critically acclaimed album ‘Blonde’, which was released last summer and featured collaborations with Beyonce, James Blake and Kendrick Lamar.
The whole Parklife line-up will be unveiled tonight.
