Both Herve and KC Lights have had a good 2016 so far – Herve seems to be returning to the sound that made him a star back in the late 2000s, whilst newcomer KC Lights has been steadily improving since we featured the producer last year.

Today, Herve has just released a brilliant double LP, Hallucinated Surf, on Skint Records alongside a new set of remixes for his track My Love ft Baltimore rapper Phizzals.

KC Lights has been tapped for one of the remixes, and he’s done a fine job indeed. For his rework – which we’re premiering today – he begins by chopping up the original’s vocals into a melody of its own right before flipping the rest of the track into a barbed cut of flamboyant house that’s both uplifting and energetic.
