As you may well have noticed, we’ve not be posting as much, or as often, as we would like to in recent months. And that’s fine.

But it has dawned upon me that we could do with some fresh faces around here; different tastes, perspectives and energy to keep the good-ship HBF moving forward in what are choppy waters in the music blogging world at the moment.

If all you’ve ever wanted to do in life is write about and share your favourite music with like-minded people – then we’d love to hear from you.

What can we offer you?

Well, monetarily, nothing. The server costs pretty much outstrip any money we get from ads, though that could change if we can grow site once again. One step at a time though.

We’re still in good shape traffic-wise – what with being on Hype Machine and Google news – and we’re constantly inundated with exciting opportunities that we just can’t fulfil at the moment.

See it as a chance to write about stuff you love and get your name out there, everyone who has written for us has gone onto bigger and better things, myself included.

So if you fancy it, we’d love to hear from you. Being able to write in an interesting and entertaining way in English is a must, and we’re not looking to cover EDM in any way, shape or form – so please don’t email us if you’re into that sort of thing. We’re traditionalists around here.
