Tech-house duo ME and her make an impressive appearance on Stefano Nofernini’s Deeperfect label with 3 differing cuts of propulsive techno.

ME and her consists of Phuong and Jen. Phuong is a Vietnamese-Swiss and Jen is from East Germany – the duo are on a bit of roll of late with a track on Get Physical and DJ sets this summer at Sankeys Ibiza.

Their fusion of cultures and musical tastes manifests itself as electrifying tech-house, full of purpose and big-room credentials.

The EP’s standout for us is the title track, ‘Soldier Fly’, 7 minutes of futuristic techno where the only two constants are a turbulent arp’d bassline and stabbing brass-y melodies; both of which are so engrossing you don’t really need much else, but if you do require more there’s also some really nice percussion touches in there too.
