TEPR returns for his second outing on Yuksek’s Partyfine records and it’s arguably even better than his last release, ‘Hypnotease’, which was released earlier this year.

The opening track, ‘Half Below’, sounds a bit like Booka Shade circa 2006; brimming full of balmy chords and crisp percussion. The second track sees TEPR utilise his voice; looping, pitching and sampling it for a intricate backing for the track’s warm melodies.

The final two tracks, ‘Oxycontin House’ and ‘With You’, are instrumentals, with ‘Oxycontin House’ falling somewhere between glitzy house and downtempo, with just a handful of melodies thawing out the ice-y percussion. And finally, ‘With You’, sees TEPR on a experimental pop tip, stringing together pitched vocals against a faux trap beat before it returns back to type and a sturdy 4/4 beat.
