I’ll have to admit when I heard that Rex The Dog was making music solely on his new modular synthesizer – and said music would be stripped back and the complete opposite to his more vivacious output – I was a more than a little bit concerned.

But thankfully, Rex The Dog’s first EP, ‘Sicko’, using his new hand built synth has been one of the best things we heard in 2015. And the canine duo are back with another EP – 3 tracks no less – via the good folks at Kompakt Records, which is out now exclusively on Beatport, with a vinyl release to follow.
