French legend Fred Falke has unveiled the first track to be taken from his forthcoming new EP, ‘Alpha’, his first EP of original music in some four years.

The chic cut of radio-friendly disco features plenty of slap bass and a comforting vocal from legendary Los Angeles radio DJ ‘Shotgun’ Tom Kelly.

Speaking about the EP and track, Falke said: “There’s a French saying which translates roughly as, ‘which one do you want to be?” he says. “Do you want to be the tallest guy in the kindergarten or the small child in the college?’ I wanted to be the small guy in the college and learn and grow. I don’t want to rest on my laurels. I want to do the next thing.”

The full thing is out December 4.
