Our favourite Greek disco producer NTEIBINT – real name George Bakalakos – returns to his spiritual home of Eskimo Recordings for a new EP, ‘The Owner’.
Featuring the serene vocal of Stella Chronopoulou – who is also from Greece – this isn’t their first collaboration, of course. Last year the two Greek rising stars delivered the stunning, ‘Never Without You’, which featured on Eskimo’s Blue Collection.
We’ve got the exclusive first play of the Beatless version, something Eskimo has been pioneering on their last couple of releases. Whilst the original (below) is a smouldering slice of textured disco pop, the Beatless version is a brittle interpretation allowing you to really saviour Stella’s bone-achingly beautiful delivery.
Keeping their standards sky-high, NTEIBINT describes his new single as “a feel good love song that’s going to stick with you. Listen to it, like you own it.”
Elsewhere, the release comes with remixes from Anoraak and Justin Faust.
