Eskimo Records welcomes The Soft Machine, aka Tim Sullivan, to their roster for his debut EP ‘On And On’.

Sullivan, an Australian native, first got his break as Das Moth and then later when he made a mix for Nicolas Jaar’s Other People imprint.

His debut, ‘On And On’, is a heady combination of lo-fi, fuzzy disco and meandering acid. The alluring vocals come courtesy of  Lorraine Nicholson whilst Dan Whitford of Cut Copy fame, was on hand to help record the synths.

‘On & On’ is also set to appear on Eskimo’s ‘The Orange Collection’, which is the latest instalment of Eskimo’s popular compilation series.

“This Soft Machine is a band at heart. Recorded live at Linear Studios in Sydney in January 2015, everything you hear on the record was recorded by human hands, played by some of my oldest, dearest friends and some hired musicians.” explains Sullivan.
