Hailing from the darkest depths of London’s South East, it’s safe to say Howson’s Groove know a thing or two about bass. Taking cues from UK garage, grime and dub, the young duo have successfully crafted a unique, identified sound across only a handful of releases, amassing mounting accolades along the way.

Their latest EP, ‘Can’t Explain’ has been picking up speed in the underground and on the airwaves, thanks to stamps of approval from DJ Mag and the Eton Messy crew, as well as a ballistic rework by London lad, Celsius.

The duo have now dropped the third track of their four song EP over on their soundcloud which continues to conform to their signature and unashamedly bass-focused aesthetic. New track, ‘Chalk and Cheese’ is the ying to ‘Can’t Explain’’s yang, subbing in a thundering 4/4 bass line and plucky percussion to replace the break-inspired rhythms of the EP’s title track.
