Fabric has been saved from closure, but the London nightclub will have to now employ a series of strict new security measures to remain open.

The new measures included a ID scanner system and sniffer dogs, which will cost the club £2100 per night.

Apparently the club will be the only London-based nightclub that has to have sniffer dogs all of the time, at a sizeable cost to the owners.

Keith Reilly, owner of the venue, told the Evening Standard: “In 15 years we have had six million people come through the doors and sadly there have been four deaths.”

“We do everything we can to stop people taking drugs in the club. What’s happened recently is this country is awash with drugs.”

Well, at least it didn’t close.
