Nadia Ksaiba is a name you’re going to hearing a lot of if her new single ‘Virtual Lover‘ is anything to go. She’s already well regarded for her DJing skills, and her radio show, Rhythm Connection on NTS.

Having worked with Matt Waites as G&S, she is now flying solo with her debut dropping on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sounnd, alongside two frighteningly good remixes from Jimmy Edgar.

The original is a tantalising piece of meandering alt-pop that manages to seduce you with droopy basslines, acidic rhythms and her cushion-soft vocals.

Remixes come from Jimmy Edgar – who offers up to versions – he takes the original and turns it into a piece of low-key psychedelic techno that manages to distill a lot of what makes original so great.

Check out the dub below.
