Daft Punk Launch Their Own Line Of Condoms *Updated* Durex Says Condoms Are Fake

Updated:

MTV has spoken to Durex directly and their spokesperson has told them that the Daft Punk Get Lucky condoms are fake: “There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the U.S. or any other markets and Durex is not posting free packs to the world’s top DJs as suggested.”

Well played Diplo, well played.

Planning on getting lucky this summer? Well, Daft Punk might be able to help, in what must one of the oddest marketing deals ever the robots have joined forces with Durex for a line of ‘Get Lucky’ condoms, no we kid you not.

To promote the new condoms, Durex has been sending them out to select DJs, who have then in turn been posting them to their social networks.

The news broke earlier this week when everyone’s favourite bass enthusiast Diplo posted a picture of the Get Lucky condoms to his twitter, alongside this witty quip: “Thank God I had those Daft Punk condoms last night.”

Apparently normal folk be able to pick up some Daft condoms when they go on sale in mainland Europe soon before coming to the UK later this summer.

Let’s just hope they don’t leak like their album.
