Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino’s Continental Records is on its 8th release and at the helm of the latest release is Parisian funk glam-rockers Fancy.

The Parisian band – comprising of Jessie Chaton (vox & keyboards), Mom (guitar), Rae Mone (bass) and their drummer Antoine – already have an album to their name and several singles under their belts (including ‘All Night Long’ which came out on Vitalic’s label).

The band have always had a killer ear for sing-along choruses and flamboyant riffs, and their latest opus ’69’ is no different. It’s an androgynous pop song fusing sticky guitar licks and vintages synths for a unique feel good anthem.

On the remixes from there’s Continental’s head honchos JBAG, who’s remix we’re premiering today, they slow the pace down but not the jump-up factor for an irresistible disco-rock extravaganza.

New kid on the blogs Jean Tonique does his funky French indie thing and gives the song a blue-eyed soul coating. Finally, Parisian rockers Gush – 2 brothers and 2 cousins – take a starker, almost leftfield approach that gives the song yet another axis.

Out May 6.
