The London Electronic Music Event, or LEME, is taking place next month at the Rich Mix arts complex in Bethnal Green, London, on April 14-15th.
It’s a two-day marathon session of production workshops, business sessions, keynote panels and networking events with sole aim to bring top electronic artists, PRs, labels, producers, bloggers and up-and-coming producers together under one roof.
Even more exciting than that, we’ll be there and talking on a panel about the importance of social media and online presence – and whether it is worth it or not.
During the two-day event LEME has lined-up a host of top music professionals including a keynote speech from DnB legend Goldie and panels with Soundcloud and top London PR firm Your Army.
For producers there are opportunities to attend numerous production workshops hosted by Sharooz, Radio Slave, Matt Colton (Alchemy Mastering), CDR’s Tony Nwachukwu, Hal Ritson of Young Punx fame, Duncan King from AEI Media and Capital FM’s Andi Durrant.
LEME’s setup at Rich Mix gives delegates the chance to custom-build their own timetable from 22 sessions led by expert speakers from all sectors of the electronic music industry.
Highlights of the 2013 programme include: Bigger Beatport Sales; Running a Label; How To Break Through; Business Basics for the Freelance Musician; Making Your Mix Slam; The Perfect Arrangement; Mastering Alchemy: the Gold Standard and What Goes Where? The EQ Masterclass.
