In case you hadn’t noticed Kavinsky’s debut album is dropping this month and to coincide with the release there’s a new remixes EP of his most recent single ‘Protovision’ to wet your futurist whistle before the album drops.

The latest remix comes from Blood Orange, who actually makes a completely new track with a mysterious female vocalist, with Mr Blood only including the bass hook and mesmerising riff right towards the end as a mere after thought. It’s a risky move, but it actually works very well.

Kavinsky will be in London on March 2 for an album launch party at a secret warehouse location.
