Some of you might remember that Shindu has shrunk to a duo, well one of the members, Greedy, is now making some killer off-kilter electro pop under the name of Wilbur, and it’s exactly the sort of pop that gets our attention.
Check out a couple of tracks he’s done over the last 6 months, there’s the tech-pop of King DJ Ft. Domenicko ‘Love Is Raining Down’ which combines pop vocals with low-slung basslines and twinkly tops – it basically sounds like Metro Area making pop.
Our favourite of his remixes is for English band Age of Consent and their track ‘Heartbreak’ which is about as good as electro pop gets. Wilbur is a man to keep an eye out for.
