Daft Punk were the talk of Paris fashion week once again after it was revealed they had created a special playlist of edited songs from the late blues singer Junior Kimborough for Saint Laurent’s fashion show.
It’s not the first time Daft Punk or many other French electronic stars have been involved in Paris fashion week. In 2007, Daft Punk made a mega mix of all their biggest tracks for Louis Vitton and, of course, Justice created the now infamous 17 minute track ‘Planisphère’ for Dior Homme’s Fashion Show in 2008.
Check them both out below.
According to the New York Times, each seat at the Saint Laurent show had a card on it which outlined details of the show and revealed that Daft Punk had edited the music together. To listen show go here.
