Our favourite anglo-frano duo Jupiter are back with a new single from their debut album ‘Juicy Lucy’. Their next single is the impossibly funky ‘Juicy Lucy’ and sees remixes from Little Boots, Zimmer and Punks Jump Up.

As you’d expect Little Boots re-jigs the song into a stripped-back disco-house mould. The synth-stess seemingly brings the whole song down a few octaves whilst adding a bubbly layer of twinkling pianos over muddy basslines to counter the robotic vocal hook – it’s then brought back to the boil for a big-room finish.

Parisian Zimmer seemingly shows of a new side to his productions with a futuristic acid-inspired effort. He layers the main vocal over an ever-changing pattern of robotic synths, then it goes all acid disco for a big trance-y finish.

London duo Punks Jump Up offers up two remixes, both of which fall somewhere between wonky and house. They’re both a bit leftfield, and not immediately obvious, but the rewind version does stumple across a thuddlying good groove eventually, while the dub version is centred around a wonky bassline and the accompanying throw-away synth line.
