London’s Lower East Records is about to release their second various artists CD, called Inner Circles, and there’s a few real gems in amongst the CD’s 10 tracks worth of house music.

First up is a lovely house track from Michael Janson, he uses a clever vocal sample to build a thudding low-end house gem, it’s full of stuttering effects on the vocal and has a lovely melodic charm to it.

Another melodic stunner is Alexis Raphael’s ‘Beverly Hill’ it just ouzes quality from the main bass hook to the sampled vocal it gives it New York disco/hip hop vibe, whilst being firmly rooted in the club with spell-binding murmuring bassline.

Inner Circles Vol 2, Part Two is released on Lower East 20th August 2012
