Last week we decided we set ourselves an ambitious target of doing one artist interview a week for the rest of the year, a tall order we know, but we’re confident from now until Christmas we can introduce you to 2013′s most exciting producers and artists.

Gesaffelstein and The Hacker’s ZONE Records kicks off 2013 in menacing fashion with an EP of cinematic techno and electro from Remote.
French DJ, producer and vocalist Miss Kittin has been a prominent figure in dance music circles since 1994, and has collaborated with everyone from Felix Da Housecat, on his electro-crash anthem ‘Silver Screen Shower Scene’ to Kris Menace and the long-time friend The Hacker.
The bosses of the crosses, or as we like to call them Justice, are prepping the next single to be taken from their second album ‘Audio Video Disco’. ‘Helix’, which is out on January 12th via Ed Banger, comes with remixes from Parisian noise maker Gesaffelstein and Domenico Torti, as well as a new track ‘Presence’ which is almost certainly the hidden track from the CD version of the album.
Justice have announced that the next single to be taken from their second album, ‘Audio, Video Disco’, will be ‘Helix’ and it comes with remixes from fellow Frenchies Domenico Torti and Gesaffelstein, as well as a extended version of ‘Helix’ and an new track ‘Presence’, which may, or may not be, the hidden track from their second album.
It’s that time of the year again: Record Store day. For those of you who have been living under some form of rock that doesn’t have internet access – it’s a special day for the music industry where labels and artists release special edition physical vinyls as a way to get you, the music buying public, into record shops the length and breadth of the country.
You might think that our interest in Lana Del Rey had peaked. Well, you’d be right. But we’ve just come across a remix from the dark lord of techno Gesaffelstein.
Gesaffelstein’s demonic techno track ‘Viol’ is getting a remixes package through Turbo Recordings and the pick of the bunch is Brodinski’s remix.
Brodinski is the talk of the town at the moment with his amazing Fabriclive CD, and his star will continue rise with his new digital label Bromance.
We’ve been to a few festivals this year with just one more to go Creamfields. Without a doubt one of the biggest tracks which seems to be getting caned by almost all the electro DJ’s we’ve seen is Gesaffelstein’s ‘Viol’ – the french electro/techno dude has been getting support from all over the place.
