If Daft Punk’s latest offering isn’t exactly tickling your French electro fancy, then we’d like to point you in the direction of young French electro up-start Decide, and his new EP ‘Polychrome’.
Out today via Brain Washer Records, the Frenchman serves up a couple of Parisian pastiches, but don’t be fooled; underneath the obvious hooks and futuristic arps lies real talent.
The lead track ‘Polychrome’ is a frenzied selection of French riffs and squelchy basslines, whilst ‘Robotshop 86’ looks to reference that classic combination of baroque and electro, with the final main drive going to a higher state of Frenchness – it’s that good.
And it’s your lucky day as you can grab this synth opus for free, but make sure you show Decide some love via his Facebook page – or else you’re just being rude.
