Soulwax have shared a stunning live video for their new single ‘Is It Always Binary’.
Taken from their new album ‘From Deewee’, the video, in similar fashion to the album, was captured live at 3 Mills Studios in London.
The band’s new live setup, dubbed Transient Program For Drums and Machinery, saw Soulwax swelling to eight members, including Stephen and David Dewaele, Stefaan Van Leuven, Iggor Cavalera, Victoria Smith, Blake Davies and Laima Leyton.
The setup consists of a full mixing desk, three live drummers (including Sepultura’s Iggor Cavalera), a multitude of synths and is the same setup the band used to record their new album, ‘From Deewee’, in just one take.
The video for ‘Is It Always Binary’ was recorded and filmed live on August 29 at 3 Mills Studios in London, captured by James Willis for Bullion Productions and perfectly captures what the group’s new live show is like.
