Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari’s artist magazine TOILETPAPER are celebrating its first million copies with the release of a special golden vinyl of Daft Punk’s 1995 classic track ‘Da Funk’.

‘Da Funk’ is the track that started it all for Daft Punk, originally released on Soma Quality Recording, the special edition gold picture disc vinyl features both ‘Da Funk’ and ‘Teachers’, which both featured on the Daft Punk’s seminal debut album ‘Homework’.

The release is limited to just 1,000 copies and comes in gold, which is usually used to mark milestone releases in the the music industry.

The only real downside is the price, which is a ludicrous £50 for two tracks – who knows maybe they actually used real gold in the production process or, and far more likely, they’re just really, really greedy.

The 12″ is available for exclusively via The Vinyl Factory online shoptoiletpapermagazine.com and in person at The Store, 180 The Strand, London WC2 from today.
