Steve Lawler is the focus of a new biopic documentary, dubbed ‘The Art of The DJ’, which takes a candid look at his influential career.

The VIVA music boss, which is celebrating its tenth year, gives a first-hand account of the ups and downs of his career, which saw the DJ hold residencies at both Space and The End during his 23-year career.

Directed by Piers Sanderson, a British filmmaker best-known for 2010’s High On Hope, which chronicled the rise of acid house and rave culture in Britain in the early 80s and 90s.

The 80-minute documentary is being shown exclusively via Lawler’s Facebook page and costs £3.50.
