Our summer love affair with Muzik Box Records is set to continue into the winter months with the label’s latest release from Monkeycat.
“Muzik Box are more than happy to give producers a moment of letting their hair down and do whatever they damn well please under a different moniker,” explains the label which was setup this year by Punks Jump Up.
“We are therefore proud to present Monkeycat, the mysterious alter ego from one of Holland’s best & most successful producers of late. As a teaser to Monkeycat’s forthcoming two track single ‘Believe’/’Attaboy’ on Muzik Box we give you ‘Sphinx’, a pure dark & deep disco gem.”

Whilst ‘Believe’ & ‘Attaboy’ are club weapons that should be handled with care. ‘Believe’ is a heads-down warehouse stomper with ice-cool vocals set against a throbbing jackin’ groove.
On the flip side, ‘Attaboy’ is a bit more leftfield; full of head-twisting percussion lines and brain-melting melodies for a proper tops-off workout.
