Rugby fever has gripped the nation and, unfortunately, suddenly ended with the host nation England getting knocked out by those pesky Aussies.
Fear not though, disco evangelists Chase The Compass and Cubed are hosting a Rugby World Cup party with a difference at London’s iconic Old Street Roundabout this Sunday.
DJs from eight of the world cup nations will be spinning disco tunes for 8-hours straight, while on the big screen the final round of group matches will be taking place.
Set to play this disco/rugby extravaganza will be Luke Million, who calls Kitsune and The Swiss home, he’ll be going back-to-back with a secret guest who releases on Duke Dumont’s Blasé Boys Club, if we we’re a betting blog it has to be a certain DJ who shares his name with a proud rugby nation.
Elsewhere, you’ll be able to catch sets from Italian house don Stefano Ritteri, while the British and Irish Lions are represented by Earl Grey, Kipp$, Holmes Price, and Discordance. CTC’s very own Frank McWeeny goes back-to-back with Oshi representing the Cockerels, with the lineup rounded off by South African Matt Prehn.
