L’Etranger returns with a brand-new single – called ‘Single’ (don’t ask) – that’s one part pop, and two parts electronic.

We’ve been following Ben Thomas’ progress for a while now; from his early French touch-inspired work through to Jersey Club (again, don’t ask), and now to this prickly electro-pop that’s intelligent, and most importantly is forward-thinking.

‘Single’ might well be some of Thomas’ best work, it’s not immediately obvious at first – granted – but beneath the prickly synths, stuttering drums and whipping snares, lies the heart of a really good song.
