Jazz Purple can usually be found writing and producing music for Biopolar Sunshine, and when he’s not writing and or producing he’s usually playing alongside Bipolar Sunshine’s Adio Marchant on bass guitar.
He’s now, however, striking out with is own music under his Jazz Purple alias, and his latest, ‘The Chronicles of Jazz Purple’, is a unique fusion of rock, electro and hip hop, but not necessarily in that order.
There’s a load of elements that make up ‘The Chronicles of Jazz Purple’, probably too many to mention, but it’s so well put together it’s almost impossible to pull it apart, but we especially like the hushed funk vocals, the faded chip tune melodies towards the end, and the razor-sharp synth lines.
Stream it above and keep an eye on Jazz Purple as he’s clearly going places.
