During an interview with Clash Magazine, disco legend Giorgio Moroder has admitted that he has been approached by Disney to soundtrack a forthcoming Tron computer game.
No game has actually been announced as yet but if there’s a going to be a game then there’s likely to be a film alongside it, too.
A third Tron film has been heavily rumoured since 2010’s remake, Tron Legacy, which saw French duo Daft Punk compose the film’s soundtrack.
Moroder also admitted in the interview that he’s going to speak to Skrillex about working on the project and also revealed he’s also been approached for big budget film, too.
“I have an offer to do a big movie. I cannot tell you what, but it’s… not a 150 million dollars but a big movie, big production. So I have to go back into that, it won’t be easy. I do this with a great musician and a great composer, so we do it together.”
Moroder famously provided the soundtrack for classic 80s films like Top Gun and Scrarface.
