Chicane are playing live at KOKO on Friday – and we’ve got one pair of tickets for you to win. Head over to our Twitter and retweet the competition to enter, and there’s an extra chance to enter via our Facebook page, too.

The winner will be chosen at random Thursday midnight. Good luck.

Chicane returns to the scene of his 2012 ‘ Thousand Mile Stare’ sold out live show KOKO, Camden Town, to perform songs from the new album, The Sum of Its Parts with a full band show. Once again there will be surprise guests, faces, and songs from the past.

For those of you not familiar: British born, Chicane (Nicholas Bracegirdle), is one of the most prolific producers, composers and hit makers of the last three decades. His dance anthems: Offshore, Halcyon, Saltwater, Don’t Give Up, Stoned in Love, Poppiholla, have successfully traversed from underground club culture into the commercial charts and spike instant recognition. Chicane’s trademark is a kick ass trance track, with an ethereal vocal that makes for easy listening for all generations. His DJ sets attract a diverse demographic, young clubbers who have discovered the legacy, and those that always ‘knew’, whilst his singles easily diversify his appeal to mainstream audiences alike. However, the band shows are a rarity where the club and show marry to exhort every emotion associated with his music.

Recorded in the big vistas and cool clear air of the Alps, The Sum of Its Parts is probably one of his best works to date. Packed full of lush, epic synths, gentle rolling trance, dramatic breaks and tough, punchy disco. Featured vocalists include: Golden Globe winner Lisa Gerrard of Gladiator soundtrack fame, who recently completed a world tour and sold out four nights at the Royal Albert Hall, Paul Aiden, Christian Burns (BBMAK) Duane Harden (the vocalist on Armand Van Heldens ‘You Don’t Know Me’) and former contestant on BBC’s ‘The Voice’ Bo Bruce, who features on the second release from the album ‘Still With Me’ which reached number 5 in the UK club charts.
