The title of In Flagranti’s latest release ‘Different From The Rest‘ perfectly describes both the disco duo and French label, La Belle, who are about to release the duo’s latest single.

The duo often quote Jean-Luc Godard: “It’s not where you take things from—it’s where you take them to.” Over the years, understandably, the duo have built up a reputation of being a label’s worst nightmare due to the vary nature of their music where they use and abuse an inordinate amount of samples.

‘Different From The Rest‘, as you might expect, is a patchwork of clever little samples, monologues, raps – basically everything apart from Kitchen sink – wrapped around a sleazy disco track.

For the remixes, Tel-Aviv based producer Moscoman turns in a rubbery disco rework, whilst French wizkid Sebastien Tex delivers a slow-burner.
