Last week we premiered the Molecule remix of Dmitry Distant’s ‘Life Drift‘, and today we can finally showcase the original. While last week’s remix fell squarely into the electro-techno pigeonhole, the original is a lot harder to decipher.

Mixing everything from acid to italo, ‘Life Drift‘ should really be dark and twisted but it’s actually the complete opposite as the acid lines and off-the-cuff percussion bring an air of fun to proceedings, reminding us of some of Rex The Dog’s earlier work on Kompakt.
