Stream: Clancy 'Overdue' EP

Clancy returns with his second outing on Berlin imprint Dirt Crew Recordings, the aptly named ‘Overdue‘ sees the London-based producer on assured form as he despatches two well-excuted originals.

‘Overdue‘ sticks to try and tested deep house formula with a steady four-four beat and a bass line that you’ll feel in your bones. There’s obviously a pitched vocal or two – but ultimatley it’s solid fooder from the up-and-coming producer.

‘Can’t You See‘ is almost a carbon copy of the a-side, and that’s where it kinda falls down – it doesn’t really offer anything different though it is put together very well. Elsewhere there’s a one remix on offer from Urulu who offers up an even deeper version, because you know sometimes deep isn’t deep enough.
