Well this is quite a way to end the week – we’re excited to present you Breakbot’s remix of Black Yaya’s ‘Paint A Smile On Me‘, which is out on Monday through Beatport.

If you’re in need of a quick catch-up: Black Yaya is a project between David Ivar, frontman and songwriter for Herman Dune, and Yuksek – you know that guy who’s arguably France’s best kept secret.

Paint A Smile On Me‘ was originally released last month via Yuksek’s newly formed Partyfine label, and on Monday the song is getting a remixes package with Breakbot, Dominenco Torti, Zimmer, Tepr and Yuksek, all on hand to remix what is one of the most colourful tracks we heard this summer.

Breakbot does what you’d expect and amplifies all the best parts of the original, so the vocal is completely intact – which is good news – as it’s the best part, elsewhere you’ll find Break’s doughy basslines mingling with warm pads and jangling guitar hooks for a Californian-inspired slice of pop.
