After last week’s excursion into the murky world of new beat, Aeroplane’s Vito De Luca is back on a disco tip for his new remix of Mayer Hawthorne’s ‘Wine Glass Woman‘ which is taken from Hawthorne’s new album, ‘Where Does This Door Go‘.
Summer might well be over, but ‘Wine Glass Women‘ is a ray of disco sunshine as De Luca combines hook-y keys with Hawthorne’s sugary pop vocals. We especially adore is the synth solo at the 3 minute mark which takes it from Vito’s usual cruising at 35,000 feet to leaving outer atmosphere – it’s that good.
