German tech house duo Booka Shade have revealed they almost split up whilst recording their new album, ‘EVE‘, which comes out November 1.
Fans of the duo have Manchester’s EVE studios to thank for their change of heart as the duo rediscovered their inspiration whilst at the studio.
“It made us feel like a band again, it was like going back to the beginning,” explained the duo. Apparently it was so much of an inspiration that the duo named their new album after the infamous studio.
This week the duo unveiled a new track from the album, ‘Love Inc‘, which sees the techno house duo return to form after 2010’s rather lacklustre ‘More!‘.
The new album will be the duo’s first album to be released away from their long-time Get Physical, the label they started alongside M.A.N.D.Y and DJ T in 2002.
The new album features a number of guest spots including techno-soul-singer Fritz Kalkbrenner and Groove Armada’s Andy Cato, the album is scheduled for a November 1 release date and can be pre-ordered here.
