It is no easy task to remix a Disclosure track. The odd 2-step rhythms, iconic to UK Garage, make remixing their unconventional anthems difficult for most producers. As a result, many shoddy remixes have been circulating the music sphere. Though if any man were up to the task it would be none other than Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, whose own sound is equally as unconventional.

Opening with an extended bass line that capitalizes on Disclosure’s own drum pads, TEED introduces shimmering effects and a sinister sound to catapult this track out of its pop territory. The shimmering chimes become a central theme throughout the track and stand out especially in the middle interlude. Add in some echoed vocals and this remix becomes one of the few remixes to do justice to the original.
