Hot on the heels of April’s ‘Back To The Wild’, Basement Jaxx are back with the second taste from their as yet unnamed new album, and the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Zephyr’.
‘What Difference Your Love Makes’ sees the duo team up with UK singer Sam Brookes for an eccentric piece of Jaxx-pop. As with anything Jaxx, the influences are all over the place as the duo fuse hook-y disco synths to twitchy dubbed-out basslines with Brookes’ happy-go-lucky vocals.
‘What a Difference Your Love Makes’ is part of a new 5-track EP, featuring the original, three remixes, and another song, ‘Mermaid of Salinas’.
