Earl Grey is the solo moniker of Danny Ashden, who is one half of the C90’s, and he’s just finished a new remix for Sohight’s ‘Fonk’ which we featured a couple of weeks ago.

EG takes the b-boy vocals and drops them down a few octaves, adds in lashing of disco violins and creates a remix every bit as good the original. Especially noteworthy is the glassy lead which dances around the mix like a child high on bath salts. Modern disco doesn’t get much better than this.
